Dietetic Internship Rotations

I learned a lot about medical nutrition for various diseases and conditions through the many clinics at UNMH. Further, I observed the strong dynamic and collaboration among the healthcare team involved in each clinic. 

I conducted nutrition assessments on patients and learned how to structure them depending on their medical history and current condition. 

Additionally, I calculated tube feeds for ALS patients and learned about the dietary restrictions after bariatric surgery.
